What Equipment and Pigments Are Used for SMP?

Scalp Aesthetic Studio uses Cheyenne and Mast rotary machines, 5PM Shadow needle cartridges in 0403, 06 and 08 configurations, and Folicule Carbon Black pigment, which is formulated specifically for SMP. Together these choices control the size, consistency and tone of every impression.

Why precision equipment matters

A natural result depends on impressions that are consistently small and placed at a controlled depth. A stable, precise rotary machine helps keep each point uniform so the finished pattern looks like follicles rather than dots.

Why needle selection matters

Different cartridge sizes create different impression sizes. Fine configurations suit soft hairline edges and density work between existing hair; slightly larger ones suit areas that need a fuller shaved look. Choosing per area keeps the result varied and believable.

Why pigment selection matters

Pigment tone is matched to your hair and skin. Folicule Carbon Black is designed for SMP and chosen to hold a natural tone over time rather than shifting toward blue or red hues.
